Sup Yoga 101 classes are offered as a 4-week, session and use yoga fused with the exciting art of Stand-Up Paddleboarding (SUP). Participants will learn how to properly use a Stand-Up Paddleboard and how to perform dozens of different yoga poses while floating on the natural splendor of the serene waters of our Lake Country Area.
Because the poses are being performed on a moving surface, you will be engaging muscles that you would not normally engage on dry land. Because your postures have to be aligned with even weight distribution on the boards, you will not only be benefiting from a challenging class, but you will also be improving your in-studio yoga practice as well. Serenity awaits. All levels welcome.
Board, Paddle and Life Vest can be rented at the time of registration or you can bring your own!!
REMEMBER LIFE VESTS & LEASHES ARE REQUIRED!!
