There are a lot of beginner/all water boards on the market these days.
There is one series that we have really taken to. It’s the Amundson
Series from Aquaglide. These boards can take a pounding, we know
because we have taught countless beginners on them.
Not only are they tough, they paddle really well too. The all round
shape and full EVA deck make them a great choice for those that want a
board the anyone can use from the get go. We spoke with Doug Hopkins
the national sales rep about the boards. He makes the point to tell
you that though these are classified All water boards, they are still
quick. We received first hand knowledge of this as we watched Doug
take 2nd place in our Naish Race Series on the 11’6”. He was up
against a fleet of race boards. It was humbling to say the least.
